I’m really excited for summer. I’m still not sure how I’m going to spend it, but i know it’ll be great. I don’t really have a tip for today, but hopefully I will soon. Life has so many experiences, you always learn a new lesson to share with people. By the way, sorry for not posting for so long. ❤ Ang

New and Old Pop Music

One if  the  things I miss most in my life is the old pop. Like before Britney shaved her head, with songs like ….Baby One More Time and Sometimes and Lucky and Crazy, stronger, and who could forget Not a Girl Not Yet a Woman. Or Kelly Clarkson Behind These Hazel Eyes. Even Jesse McCartney with Beautiful Soul and Because You Live. Some of the only artists that have stayed the same are P!nk and Avril Levigne. I wish music was still GOOD. I like some new songs, but that auto-tuned stuff is an insult to pop music and a joke! I only say this because people should be making music with their passion and REAL voice. Not machines doing the work for them. Especially lip-psyching. If you can’t do it yourself, that isn’t a good career move.

Yesterday, I drove three hours with my parents to a restaurant where  there was a benefit being held for war veterans. My mom and dad played a few songs and so did my cousin and uncle. The music was great and I was so proud of my cousin afterward. But although the music was great, that’s besides the point. Someone really special to me  is a veteran, but he never went to war because at the time there was no war to fight in. I’m so thankful for that because I could have lost him, but others aren’t so lucky. There was a poster behind the performers that if you saw it, you may cry. My point is, Thanksgiving isn’t the only time of the year you should be thankful for what you have, because it (or they) can just as easily be taken away from you.

When it comes to school, people tend to worry too much about image. They stress over if the popular people think they’re cool, or if they chose a dorky club, or if they wear the most in style fashion. They forgot the most important part of image; BE YOURSELF. Which is basically the whole point of this post. Never be afraid to do things that YOU like. I may sound like I don’t know what I’m talking about, but i’m positive I know this; I’m going to another school next year with way more kids from other towns, so these problems are going to be even worse. Angie’s tip for today is always stay true to YOURSELF and you’ll go far.

On video sharing websites, I seem to watch music videos and music video parodies more that anything else. what could be either an upside or a downside to sites like YouTube , is that you’ll never know what you might get until you actually watch it. Something you think may be boring, could be the the funniest thing you’ve ever seen, but it could work the other way around. Life and the internet are strange like that.
